This class is designed for front desk positions, assistants, junior stylists and senior stylists. It is the perfect refresher to help ease the training requirements for busy salon owners.

TOPICS COVERED:


Phone skills- the phone is often the first interaction with the client but many people have little experience due to the increase in technology Client Greeting- walking into a salon can be an uncomfortable situation for many clients but there are a few keys to making them feel right at home.
Salon Culture- what would you like clients to assume about the salon from the moment they walk in?
Language- subtleties in language will change how clients feel about themselves and the service provided. Are you aware of the power of words?
Timing- respect is everything when it comes to time. Everyone runs late sometimes but there are some things to keep in mind to improve time management, along with some ways to deal with issues as they (because they will!) arise.
Team Work- everyone benefits by working as a team. How can you help others and how does helping others help you? Professionalism- what are industry professional standards and how to stay on point without compromising your personality.
Retail- (this is really a class on its own!) but we will cover the importance of client retail EDUCATION and how it affects the client’s relationship with the salon.
Pre booking - do we need to say more ? Redos- not always a bad word! Guaranteeing work and eliminating any uncomfortable emotions for clients who need adjustments can change your career/business.

Being vigilant is the best way to fix any issues before they arise. This is one of the most important and beneficial things anyone helping that salon can do!
